If you're like me then you're someone who loves a good bargain and hates overpaying for everyday items. That's why I stopped paying $7 a day for a coffee and switched to spending closer to $7 a month to make my own at home.
Making coffee at home has been a life changer...I'll admit, this isn't something completely new. I am that person who has coffee before they go out to a cafe for coffee. The road is just not safe unless I'm caffeinated. However, I have stopped going out to the cafe.
If having a good brew is important to you, then all you need to do is pay for premium beans, grind them at home (it takes 30 seconds of your time), and uses a machine of your choice to brew your coffee. Personally, I'm a huge fan of French Press coffee.
Something I really missed about going out for a cup was flavored coffee. I'm not a fan of buying syrups, I never spend more than $6 for my morning coffee so there is no way I'm spending extra money on a flavored syrup.
It's almost fall. No, I'm not telling you how to make a diy PSL. I'm basic, but not that basic.
No. This is how you make that essential fall dirty chai latte, without the tea.
It is oh so simple guys!
Sprinkle these spices and a splash of vanilla extract in your coffee grounds and make your coffee how you desire:
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Allspice
1 tsp Ginger
1/4 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
That's it! Seriously! Have it black. Pour in some oat milk. Use a steamer and make a true latte! The rest is up to you. I'll be having it every day this month using my good ol' coffee maker.
Drink up and save that money!
