Some people like shopping for clothes, I like shopping for kitchen supplies!
I have tried a ton of products over the years. Some are amazing, others are quite a bit of a letdown. If you were looking for kitchenware for the first time these would be among the kitchen essentials that I would full-heartedly recommend. I have them in my kitchen, they are long-lasting cookware and just all-around amazing tools.

In my opinion, I think everyone should have a slow cooker. You can cook just about anything in them. They come in handy during parties or events. The one below has a locking cover so it is easily portable. It's just nice to have one on hand. If you're not great at cooking, chances are you can make a good meal with a slow cooker. If you are good at cooking, you're still going to use that slow cooker. I love to use it for meats and soups the most. Some of my favorite meats to cook in it are ribs, chicken drumsticks, carnitas, and pot roast. This slow cooker can handle anything.
A kitchen is only as good as its knife set. Put these in your kitchen and you will never be lacking. It comes with all the basics, a 3.25-inch Paring Knife, 4.5-inch Serrated Utility Knife, 7-inch Hollow Edge Santoku Knife, 8-inch Chef's Knife, 8.25-inch Bread Knife, 10-inch Sharpening Steel, Six 4.5-inch Serrated Steak Knives, Come-Apart Kitchen Shears, and a 13-slot Walnut Swivel Knife Block that you can set a cookbook (let's be honest, it will really be your tablet or phone) on while you're cooking! I've had my set for three years now and my knives are just as good as the day I opened the box. I keep them in pristine condition by using the sharpening steel that came with the kit. Do yourself a favor and get a good set of knives. A good knife is a magical experience.
I am embarrassed to say that I have gotten burned from my cast iron skillet & dutch oven almost every time I used them...until I started using handle covers!! These are a lifesaver!! You can put them in the oven with your dish and you can wash them in the dishwasher. The handle will obviously still be hot, but the cover prevents burns quite well. If you use a cast iron skillet or a dutch oven this is a must-buy product
Once you use a tapered rolling pin you will never go back. Long gone are the days of lines in your dough. No more dough getting stuck between the handles and the pin. No more squeaky rolling pin to wake the sleeping baby. No, no, the time for a handle-less rolling pin is now. I used to hate using rolling pins. Tapered rolling pins have a natural feel to them, its the type of tool that feels like an extension of yourself. If you have the need to upgrade, then give it a chance.
Dutch ovens are an essential kitchen item, and Lodge makes a darn good product. If you're wondering why you need a large and heavy pot in your collection, here's a great reason. It can be used to make almost any dish. So really, you don't need to have all those pots and pans lying around. From bread to pasta, to soup, to casseroles, to whole roasted chicken, to deep frying, to campfire eggs and bacon, this dutch oven can do it all. It's your one-stop-shop kind of pot.
Don't think I forgot about my 'just for fun' favorite kitchen tool!
I think this is my favorite under $5 kitchen buy. It makes large ravioli, which I love because that means more filling (and I always make more filling than I seem to need), and it uses up the dough faster. Anything to save some time is a good thing in my book. Especially if it doesn't sacrifice flavor. It does its job when it comes to sealing, I've yet to have a leak. And I love how it tears away from the dough like it's perforated paper, so satisfying!
